Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Lasahara LLC ("Kalisstar", "we", "us"), the company that operates the Kalisstar mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, adding calling credit, or placing a call through Kalisstar, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refunds & Disputes Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Kalisstar

To use Kalisstar you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Have a valid mobile phone number in the United States or Canada, which you use to sign in; and
• Use the Service for your own lawful, personal communication.

By using Kalisstar you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You sign in with your mobile number, which we verify with a one-time code. Keep access to that number and your device secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account, including all calls placed and credit spent. Tell us right away at support@kalisstar.com if you believe someone else has accessed your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

4. The service

Kalisstar lets you place outbound calls from your device, over the internet, to phone numbers in the countries we support (currently Nigeria). Calls are placed through Kalisstar's telephone network and carrier partners. Kalisstar is an outbound calling service only: it does not receive incoming calls, and it is not a replacement for your regular phone line or mobile plan.

5. Calling credit and billing

• Prepaid wallet. Calls are paid from a prepaid balance ("calling credit") that you load in advance. Credit is denominated in US dollars.
• What credit is. Calling credit can only be used to pay for calls through Kalisstar. It has no cash value except as described in our Refunds & Disputes Policy, earns no interest, and is not a bank deposit, gift card, or general-purpose stored-value instrument.
• How you are charged. Connected calls are billed per minute at the rate shown in the app, rounded up to the next full minute, with a one-minute minimum. You are not charged for calls that do not connect.
• Rates. Per-minute rates are shown in the app before you call and may change over time. If a rate changes, the new rate applies to calls placed after the change.

6. Payments

You add calling credit through our payment processor, Stripe. When you top up, you authorize the charge to your chosen payment method. Kalisstar does not receive or store your full card details — Stripe processes them directly. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase where required by law.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our Refunds & Disputes Policy. In short: unused calling credit can be refunded on request; credit already spent on completed calls is not refundable.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Kalisstar lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use the Service to impersonate anyone, to defraud, deceive, harass, or threaten, or for any unlawful purpose. Misuse may result in suspension or termination and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

10. Availability and third parties

We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Call quality and connectivity depend on your internet connection, your device, and third-party networks we rely on to place calls, verify your number, host our systems, and process payments. We are not responsible for failures caused by those third parties or by your own network or device.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lasahara LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Lasahara LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Kalisstar at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud or abuse, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account for a reason other than your misuse, you may request a refund of your unused calling credit as described in the Refunds & Disputes Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
